POSITION TITLE: Marketing Manager
REPORTS TO: VP Sales & Marketing E/I
DEPARTMENT: I/E Sales & Marketing
DIRECT REPORTS: Advertising and Promotion Manager, Assistant Product Manager

MISSION: The Marketing Manager manages the corporate image and message for the Industrial Division of CRC. The Marketing Manager will strategically use the financial and human resources allocated to drive growth through differentiation in quality, message, image and speed to market for all current and new products and programs


    – Minimum 8-10 years of experience in the Industrial Marketplace
    – Minimum 5 years of experience with e-commerce
    – At least 4-5 years of experience as a manager


    – Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management or similar

    – Develop and manage yearly marketing budgets
    – Create and implement profitable marketing programs for key accounts and product lines
    – Formulate and recommend pricing strategies to achieve increased profit and market share
    – Review product formulas and packaging for cost-saving and product rationalization opportunities
    – Work directly with field sales managers and account reps to meet customer needs and utilize their existing marketing programs
    – Manage Field Training efforts – Americas Group: U.S., Canada and Mexico
    – Conduct market research and other support for CRC’s future acquisitions
    – New Products and Packaging
        – Research new product ideas and work with R&D and Production championing new product development, packaging and marketing plans. Coordinate and oversee CRC’s participation in national industry and customer trade shows with “Market Development Manager”.
        – Manage New Product Development process for Industrial Division
    – Advertising / Promotions
        – Negotiate media contracts to develop and place creative ads to support programs and promotions
        – Manage outside creative agencies including photography, printing and creative development
    – Research competitive products and pricing to achieve and maintain a strong market position
    – Analyze promotional results to determine effectiveness of programs and benefit to CRC
    – Develop and Coordinate Production and Promotional Marketing Displays, Literature, Catalogs, etc.
    – Write informational articles and press releases on CRC products for various industry and customer publications
    – Manage the E/I Monthly Report content and design
