Napa, CA – The GoGoGear.com Racing team is working hard to be ready for the new season in the United States Touring Car Championship (USTCC). The team had a great 2020, winning a driver championship and a manufacturer’s championship.
The 2021 season is going to present new challenges with more races and tougher competition. “We have been improving all aspects of our team from our uniforms to our transporters. The cars will be better and faster to fight with the new level of competition that we are anticipating in 2021,” said Ali Arsham, Team Principal. “Thanks to great partners such as CRC Automotive, we have the necessary tools to get the job done to make sure the team meets our lofty goals for 2021. With new equipment such as the CRC SmartWasher parts cleaner, it makes our lives easier to prepare all of the machinery here,” added Arsham. The team will be fielding six cars in three classes with two BMW M3s, two Hyundai Genesis Coupes, and two Honda Civics.
The driver lineup for the 2021 season has not been finalized for the team but four drivers that are already signed have shown tremendous ability. Larry Bani will be driving one of the BMWs in the Super Touring class. Bani won the Plastex Plastic Repair Top Rookie honors in 2011 and won the Sportsman class championship in 2014 and 2016. Gary Sheehan was the Touring class champion in 2000, 2014, 2018, 2019 and 2020 and will try to win again in the Hyundai. Reza Arsham has shown incredible speed and became the youngest ever winner in USTCC history and will be driving one of the Honda Civics. Charlie Frank and Chris Evertsen are the two new drivers that have signed up for the new season in the second BMW M3 in the Sportsman class.
The team’s first race of 2021 will be on April 10 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway just outside Las Vegas, Nevada. You can follow the team on Facebook at facebook.com/gogogear and on their website at gogogear.com. The races can be seen on Final Drive TV which is available on Comcast Cable, AT&T U-Verse, Dish Network, DirecTV and Roku. They can also be seen on youtube.com/finaldrivetv.
